This is a recording of a giant steamship running from woods hole, ma to the island of martha's vineyard, arriving at the vineyard haven port. The sound is of the big engine, and a few other ambient sounds like pa announcements, etc.

Early morning on the dock of a minnesota lake. Sound of water underneath the dock and purple martins chirping. There is a sudden motorboat engine at after a few minutes, but it quickly dies away. There is also the sound of a giant snapping turtle banging against the dock. At the end of the recording there are some wind and microphone sounds.
Early morning, crossing the bay of biscay in a force ten gale, the whole cabin (high up in the ship) creates a symphony of sounds. Engine noise in the background, plus a cacophony of different stresses on the woodwork and fittings of the cabin.

Took a ride on a historic steam engine in the lake district (england). This was recorded from inside the carriage while in transit. Some background talking but a lot of good mechanical clunking type sounds. .
The engine to the hysterical "melody" is formed by a two lfos and a looping envelope performing an ever changing dance of random or maybe chaos. Zooming in and study waveforms in this sound is interesting. The sound is unedited, straight from the analog modular synth. Quantization of the pitch - nope. . .

This is a new sprayer we bought and it's nice to be able to relieve the pressure by turning a small, built-in valve. Similar to a compression relief valve on engines, i suppose. I recorded it with my yamaha 'pocketrak' recorder and edited on sony vegas. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

This is the first part of four sounds of a cessna 152. Here is the starting and the taxiing of the plane to the take-off runway (24 l). Taxiway and runway are grass. We can ear the gyroscope starting. Recorded on 2017/10/21 at the namur aero club with an olympus ls 100.

An ice cream truck that comes regularly to la louvière in belgium. The truck stays in neutral then he leaves the place slowly. Recordded with tascam dr-100mkii onboard microphones.
Corvette c5 inox from 2001, recorded with zoon h4n at 24/96, stereo. Car start, accelerate, run r/l and l/r, stop the engine, start again,comes near the h4 in a fixed point, accelerate , screeches, run, stops and close the door.
The entrance / exit of this parking garage is a slope, so drivers have to drive hard against it in order to reach the street level. Recorded with schoeps cmc6 mk41 into sound devices 633.

This sound was recorded while driving down the road on my way to school while it was raining. I was traveling between 0 and 60 miles per hour. So there is a variation in the intensity of the rain falling against my car. As-well you gain a slight acknowledgement to the acceleration of my engine.
